I'm wondering though, I went to submit an emoticon to the "animated" folder and there was no button to contribute. Do I have to submit to featured and then it will be moved later? Because that's the only folder with a contribute button.
I'm sorry, I'm just a bit confused. :confused:

Welcome :aww: I tried to change that aspect but the owner or the group canceled her account and being just a co-founder i can't make major changes. You can submit to the feature folder. I periodically arrange them into the correct section and leave some in the featured as well.

you can't actually "make" an icon. you can make another deviant profile and upload the gif image as the avatar and then when you write :icon profile name: it will show up as the avatar and it can be used like an icon.
